Antropomorfní nádoba svodínského typu (Foto: J. Špaček)Numerous fragments of a shattered anthropomorphic vessel were found at the edge of a large settlement pit. As regards the form, it is a gynaecomorphous vessel with the arms in an adoration gesture, which is symptomatic of Svodín-type vessels. According to the bowl-shaped terminals on hands it rather represents a frequent variant of these vessels, but according to the original design of the lower part of the body it is a new version of these ceramic products. Anthropomorphic vessels have been associated with spiritual life of people of the Lengyel Culture. The vessels of type Svodín may have represented female worshippers.
